Films on MySpace TV 2003 - 2009
When MySpace launched in 2003 it was a sight for social network but also for film makers and musicians to get their first chance out of the shadows, here are the movies and web series launched on MySpace tv from the 90s and 2000s which are mostly fan films or short experimental or series that never got aired until thanks to MySpace and our first influencer Tila Tequila. In 2009 MySpace was faced with technical issues and in 2010 it was shutdown and when it reopened it was too late. In 2012 the new owner Justin Timberlake decided to take down MySpace film for good and other social networking but kept developing the MySpace music due to its popularity and more profitable content. Today MySpace is nothing but a shadow of it’s former self but their movies are still watchable on YouTube.
