I'm not a fan of the series' humor, but one can't deny its unique atmosphere - to say the least.

Petscop is the product of the mind of a genius and so, its medium shouldn't deter you from having an experience of a lifetime. (But I would strongly recommend watching it from one of those 3-hour-long videos that summarises the whole thing and tries to explain it.)

Yes, it wavers in quality. Yes, it went on a little too long for its own good. But I'll be damned if I say I didn't love this. It has everything a good 'Twilight Zone Story' should have - but it should be noted I watched this as a kid. I cannot vouch for narrative quality. So, for better of for worse, it's one of the main shows that proposes this kind of mystifying experience.

Plus, the fact that you can mostly piece it together makes it for a fantastic watch and intellectual exercise.

And The Empty Man does this, even though it was marketed poorly and directed to the wrong audiences.

When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it begins a journey to discover the truth about their jobs.The unravaling of the plot distills the looming threat of the unknowable that permeates the series at first, so, by season two it might all go down the drains and the plot should get resolved. Nonetheless, Severence does a great job at it and the corporation is still a big w-t-f.
- DirectorRobert EggersStarsRobert PattinsonWillem DafoeValeriia KaramanTwo lighthouse keepers try to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.I could add here any of Egger's movies, but I'm choosing The Lighthouse because it was the most daring production. Dafoe and Pattinson are 90% of the movie (I'll give 10% of the credit to the set design, stylistic choices, cinematography and all the technical nine yards, which are phenomenal - but I have the utmost admiration for the actors) and they kill it. The Lighthouse takes a subtle shot at Lovecraftian horror and I love it for that.
- DirectorSteven NelsonIn this House of Leaves inspired DOOM mod masquerading as a tribute to the author's dead friend, players are tasked to explore a recreation of the author's home that has more than meets the eye.Another ARG, another masterpiece. This story also has a personal touch like Petscop and because of that manages to be way more affecting. It's intricate but answers most questions. Watching a video on it will be similar to watching a movie and definitely recommended if you don't play games.

Along the way they come face-to-face with social and economic issues touching on race, relationships, poverty, status and parenthood.Atlanta borrows a few lessons from the masters and creates something unique that some call 'afro-surrealism' due to its heavy focus on social commentary (without being preachy about it).

Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something much more sinister.Like a hellish fever dream, Pessession is a compilation of the worst, most abusive type of relationship, intertwined with demonic possession and body horror. It's a crazy ride, for sure, but just barely grazes the Twilight Zone. Still, it's an honorable mention.
