Doug Walker was born in Naples, Italy; and because his father was in the Navy, lived in many different places across the United States when he was growing up. He went on to study film at Northern Illinois University, majoring in communications.

After college, he worked as an illustrator and started making YouTube videos for fun. He first grabbed viewers' attention with clever 5 second movie versions of popular films, and gained more notoriety with his snarky "Nostalgia Critic" reviews.

In 2008, "Nostalgia Critic" moved from YouTube to the independent site That Guy With the Glasses and Channel Awesome. By 2009, an increased income from advertising on the new site allowed Walker to quit his day job (a video that he made to commemorate the occasion also went viral) and develop his web persona full-time.

Tay Zonday was born on 21 May 1982 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is an actor and director, known for Tay Zonday: Chocolate Rain (2007), YouTube Assassin (2010) and Viralcom (2008).

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is an American YouTuber. He is credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on expensive stunts. His YouTube channel reached 300 million subscribers in July 10th 2024, making him the most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson won Creator of the Year award three times at the Streamy Awards in 2020, 2021, and 2022; he also won the Favorite Male Creator award at the 2022 Kids' Choice Awards.

Jenna Mourey, more commonly known as Jenna Marbles, is an American YouTube personality. Jenna attended Brighton High School in Rochester, New York. Later on, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend college at Suffolk University, obtaining a B.S. in Psychology. She then attended Boston University and obtained her Master's in Sport psychology and Counseling. She resides in Santa Monica, California with her three dogs, Mr. Marbles, a Chihuahua, and two Italian Greyhounds, Kermit and Peach.

Chris Crocker was born on 7 December 1987. He is an actor and cinematographer.

Jessica Nigri is a well-known cosplayer who gained notoriety in 2009 at the San Diego Comic-Con when she dressed up as a unique version of Pikachu. Since then she has cosplayed many other characters from different anime and video games such as Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2 and Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann.

American streamer and professional eSports player Tyler Blevins, more commonly known by his online alias "Ninja", was born in Grayslake, Illinois, to Chuck and Cynthia Blevins. He starred in the A Gamer's Life (2016) as himself.

It was his father, Chuck Blevins who introduced him to video games. Ninja began playing Halo 3 professionally in 2009. He played for various teams including Cloud9, Renegades, Team Liquid and Luminosity Gaming.

Ninja became a streamer in 2011 first with Justin.tv, then moved to Twitch.tv. He began playing H1Z1 at the start of its early access program with Steam, then moved to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds when it also entered Steam's early access program. He joined Luminosity Gaming in 2017 first as a Halo player, then to H1Z1, later moving to PUBG, where he won the PUBG Gamescom Invitational in the 3rd Person Squads classification. He began streaming Fortnite regularly and his viewership began to grow, which coincided with the game's growth in popularity in September 2017, he had 500,000 followers; in six months, that number grew by 250 percent. In March 2018, Ninja set the Twitch.tv record for a single individual stream while playing Fortnite after he hosted a game with Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. In April 2018, he broke his own viewing record during his event Ninja Vegas 2018 where he accumulated an audience of 667,000 live viewers.

Ninja has over 21 million subscribers on YouTube and he has become the 2nd most subscribed Twitch streamer; after fellow Fortnite streamer Tfue passed him as of January 2019. He credits the game's free-to-play business model as a growth factor.

On June 17th, 2018, he has announced that he partnered with Red Bull eSports.

On August 1st, 2019, it was announced that Microsoft has signed an exclusive contract with Ninja for its own streaming platform and therefore he left Twitch to stream exclusively on Mixer. But shortly after the shutdown of the Mixer, he returned back to stream on Twitch.

Kai Cenat is a world known streamer, content creator, and musical artist. He frequently makes content with his group AMP, doing challenges or reacting to things. Along with AMP, he works with other streamers and content creators such as IShowSpeed and others. Songs he is known for include Bustdown Rollie Avalanche (feat. NLE Choppa) and The Dogs (feat. Bert Kreischer's career has evolved from earning Rolling Stone's 1997 "Number One Partier in the Nation," to one of the top grossing stand-up comics in the business. Jeremy Meeks is a convicted felon who rose to fame after his sexy mugshot was posted on the Facebook page of the Stockton Police Department. He was arrested and charged on June 18 for a felony charge of street terrorism as well as for a misdemeanor charge of resisting/obstruction of justice. At the time of this writing, his mugshot has seventy-five thousand likes, twenty thousand comments, and ten thousand shares. On June 20, his bail was raised to one million dollars and his mother, Katherine Angier, has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for his release. His mother is insistent that the gang-related charges stem from stereotyping due to his tattoos. He previously served a nine year sentence for grand theft.
