David Packard Corenswet, perhaps best known for playing Superman in the DCU is an American actor. His father, John Corenswet, worked as a stage actor in New York for many years before continuing his career as a lawyer. His grandfather, Edward Packard, was also an author and the creator of the Choose Your Own Adventure book series. Corenswet graduated from the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, before attending the University of Pennsylvania for a year and then transferring to the Juilliard School in New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama in 2016.

He started acting at an early age, where he appeared in numerous theater plays, such as Arden Theatre's 2002 production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons, the Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival's 2003 production of Macbeth, the Walnut Street Theatre's 2003 production of La Vie En Bleu, and the People's Light and Theatre Company's 2004 production of The Forgiving Harvest, among others. David Corenswet wrote the screenplay for Following Chase (2011) and starred in the said short film directed by Greg Koorhan. After that he co-wrote and co-produced a web series called Moe & Jerryweather (2014) with his friend at Julliard, Adam Langdon, from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Rob Reiner cast Corenswet as a co-lead in his planned TV show, The Tap (2017), alongside Jack Quaid, and others, which was set at Yale College in 1969. David Corenswet played a student in the pilot episode, but the show was never ordered by USA Network.

As his first film leading role after graduating from Julliard, he starred as Michael Lawson in Eric Bross's Affairs of State (2018). Corenswet then appeared in several guest roles in shows such as House of Cards (2013), Elementary (2012), and Instinct (2018). In 2019, he portrayed River Barkley in Ryan Murphy's The Politician (2019), and in 2020 he starred in Ryan Murphy's Hollywood (2020) in the lead role of Jack Castello. In 2022 he co-starred in HBO's We Own This City (2022) as the veteran police investigator David McDougall. Also in 2022, Corenswet co-starred as Jake in Netflix's Look Both Ways (2022), and then he co-starred as The Projectionist in Ti West's Pearl (2022). In 2024, he co-starred in The Greatest Hits (2024) for Searchlight Pictures. Corenswet appeared in Twisters (2024) as Scott alongside Glen Powell , and then he had a recurring role in the Apple TV+ series Lady in the Lake (2024) alongside Natalie Portman

On June 27, 2023, it was announced that David Corenswet had been cast as the next Superman in Superman (2025), written and directed by James Gunn and produced by Peter Safran alongside Rachel Brosnahan. Superman (2025) will mark the true start of the new cinematic DC universe by the names of DCU under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran at DC Studios. The movie started shooting on February 29, 2024, and concluded filming on July 30, 2024. Superman (2025) is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on July 11, 2025.

Rachel Brosnahan was born in in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1990 and is an American actress. She is best known for her role as 'Midge' Maisel in the Amazon Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017) for which she has won two Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy (2019, 2018), one Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (2018), and one Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series (2018).

She is also known for her previous roles in the film Beautiful Creatures (2013) as Genevieve Duchannes, in the Netflix original series House of Cards (2013) as Rachel Posner, and in the TV series Manhattan (2014) as Abby Isaacs.

Rachel is the daughter of Carol (Best) and Earl Brosnahan, who worked in children's publishing. Her mother is English. Her father is an American, of mostly Irish descent. From the age of four, she was raised in Highland Park, Illinois. She has a younger brother and sister. Rachel is the niece of the late handbag designer Kate Spade, who was her father's sister.

She attended Wayne Thomas Elementary School, and then Northwood Junior High School. She performed in musical theater during junior high school and high school. At Highland Park High School, she was on the wrestling team for two years and was a snowboarding instructor. When Brosnahan was 16, she took a class with Carole Dibo, the director of Wilmette's Actors' Training Center, and now Brosnahan's manager. She graduated in 2008, and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2012.

Brosnahan was cast in her first movie role as Lisa in the Michael Bay-produced horror movie The Unborn (2009) while she was still in high school. During college, she performed in single episodes of TV series such as Gossip Girl (2007), The Good Wife (2009), Grey's Anatomy (2005), and In Treatment (2008). After college, she began landing recurring roles in series such as The Blacklist (2013), the short-lived Black Box (2014)), and "House of Cards" (2013-15), which brought her career prominence that included an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series in 2015. Initially booked for two episodes and five lines, she caught Beau Willimon's eye; soon, she was developed into a major character. She also played Abby Isaacs for two seasons on the TV drama series "Manhattan."

She first appeared on stage in 2009 in "Up" at the Steppenwolf Theater, which was followed by her Broadway debut in "The Big Knife" with the Roundabout Theater Company in 2013. In 2016 she played Desdemona in "Othello" at New York Theater Workshop opposite David Oyelowo and Daniel Craig.

She was cast as the lead role and title character of the Amazon Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017), which premiered in 2017. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe and a Critics' Choice award for Best Actress in a Television Series--Musical or Comedy.

Skyler Gisondo was born on 22 July 1996 in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. He is an actor, known for Booksmart (2019), The Social Dilemma (2020) and Vacation (2015).

Nicholas Hoult was born on December 7, 1989 in Wokingham, Berkshire, England, UK as Nicholas Caradoc Hoult. His parents are Glenis Hoult, a piano teacher and Roger Hoult, a pilot. He has three siblings, two sisters and one brother. His great-aunt was one of the most popular actresses of her time, Dame Anna Neagle. He attended Sylvia Young Theatre School, a school for performing arts, to start acting as a career.

His breakthrough role was as a child when he starred as Marcus Brewer in About a Boy (2002), alongside Hugh Grant. In 2005, he starred in his first American film The Weather Man (2005) as Nicolas Cage's son. At age 17, he received recognition for starring as Tony Stonem in the BAFTAs-awarded British teen-drama series Skins (2007). Later he played the role of Kenny Potter in the Oscar-nominated film A Single Man (2009) after being discovered by director Tom Ford.

Hoult was cast as Hank / Beast in the X-Men franchise and starred in the films X-Men: First Class (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019).

Sara Pinto Sampaio was born on July 21, 1991 in Porto, Portugal. Sara is most known for being a Victoria's Secret angel since April 2015 and the face of Armani beauty and Armani Si fragrance next to Cate Blanchett. She is also an actress, known for Carga(2018), homeland(2020), Sombra(2020), and The Clapper(2017).

Nathan Fillion was born on 27 March 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is the son of Cookie (Early) and Bob Fillion, both retired English teachers, and has an older brother, Jeff. His father is of French-Canadian descent, and his mother is of English, German, Finnish, and Norwegian ancestry. In Canada, he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Concordia University College of Alberta and University of Alberta. Before moving to New York City in 1994, he participated in improv theatre, including Theatresports with Rapid Fire Theatre and improvised soap opera Die-Nasty. He also appeared in a TV Movie Ordeal in the Arctic (1993) starring Richard Chamberlain and in Strange and Rich (1994).

Fillion's first regular role was on a daytime soap opera, One Life to Live (1968), as Joey Buchanan, for which role he was nominated in 1996 for a Daytime Emmy Award. After "Two Guys" ended in 2001, Fillion gained critical acclaim and a large cult of fans when he starred as Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the Joss Whedon's Firefly (2002). Unfortunately the show was prematurely canceled in late 2002. He also guest starred on several episodes of two short lived TV shows, Pasadena (2001), as Rev. Glenn Collins and Miss Match (2003), as Adam Logan. In 2003, Whedon gave Fillion another chance to display his range when he cast Fillion as the twisted preacher Caleb, a villain, in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). Before and after "Firefly", Fillion appeared in many movies, Dracula 2000 (2000), Alligator Point (2003), Water's Edge (2003), If Dad Only Knew (2004) and Hollywood Division (2004).

Whedon vowed to resurrect "Firefly" in some way, and Fillion played Captain Reynolds again in the feature-film Serenity (2005). Besides starring on "Castle", he has appeared in many movies, in Super (2010) as The Holy Avenger, in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (2012) as Dogberry, the incompetent chief of security, in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) as Hermes and in Thrilling Adventure Hour Live (2015).

He also narrated the documentary, Highway of Tears (2015).

Isabela Yolanda Moner, now officially Isabela Merced, is an American actress, voice actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, and ukulele player. She is known for Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018), Instant Family (2018), and the title role in Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019). Merced also starred in the Nickelodeon television series "100 Things to Do Before High School." She made her Broadway debut at age 10 in a production of "Evita." Her film debut was "The House That Jack Built" (2013).

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Katherine, a Peruvian from Lima, and Patrick Moner, who was born in Louisiana, and has Polish and Slovak ancestry. She is the middle child of her family; she has an older brother, Jared, and a younger brother, Gyovanni.

Edi Gathegi was born on 10 March 1979 in Nairobi, Kenya. He is an actor and producer, known for StartUp (2016), Princess of the Row (2019) and For All Mankind (2019). He is married to Adriana Marinescu.

Anthony Carrigan is a Massachusetts-born actor best known for his breakout role as Noho Hank in the HBO series Barry (2018). Previously he was known for playing Victor Zsasz in the series Gotham on Fox and Kyle Davies in The Forgotten on ABC. He has also appeared on The Flash, The Blacklist, and Parenthood (2010). He was diagnosed at age three with the auto-immune disease alopecia areata, which causes baldness. He gradually lost all of his body hair, leaving him completely bald by age 30. Carrigan has become an advocate for both body positivity and human rights.

Most recently seen as "Cora" in the Denis Leary / Elizabeth Perkins led series "The Moodys", Venezuelan actress Maria Gabriela de Faria also starred as the deadly assassin-in-training "Maria Salazar" in the Russo Brothers/Image Comics/Sony series "Deadly Class".

DeFaria has been acting since the age of 4, and her career has been a lucky one, with each of her previous series becoming huge successes across Latin America (and internationally...over 22 countries total). Sean Gunn is an American actor who is known for his collaborations with his brother James Gunn. He famously played Kraglin and did the physical portrayal of Rocket before being dubbed over by Bradley Cooper in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. He also portrayed Weasel and Calendar Man in The Suicide Squad. He was also in Tromeo & Juliet, Super, Lollipop Chainsaw, The Specials and Gilmore Girls.

Terence Rosemore was born in Great Falls, Montana and raised in New Orleans where he got his start as an Actor in Ted Gilliam's Dashiki Theatre Company. He is an award winning Filmmaker and Actor whose career has touched five decades. Rosemore has appeared in dozens of feature films including Triple 9, The Nice Guys, The Apostle, Candyman 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vols. 2 & 3. His Television work includes appearances on Atlanta, True Detectives, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, Treme, Queen Sugar, Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special and Netflix's Outer Banks as Captain Terrance. DC/Warner Brothers has announced that Rosemore will be playing the role of Lex Luthor henchman Otis in James Gunn's Superman.

His behind the camera credits includes Dr. Phil, The Fast and the Furious:Tokyo Drift, NFL Films, The Doctors, Pride, The Skeleton Key and Monster's Ball. From 1999 to 2001 Rosemore served as Cash Money Records Casting Director, casting the feature film Baller Blockin, as well as music videos for the Big Tymers, the Hot Boys, Lil Wayne and Juvenile.

Alan Tudyk was born in El Paso, Texas, but grew up in Plano, where he attended Plano Sr. High. In 1990, he went on to study drama at Lon Morris Jr. College. While there, he was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for Drama. He was also named Most Likely to Succeed and Sophomore Beau. During this time, Alan was also an active member of the Delta Psi Omega fraternity.

After leaving LMJC, Alan went on to study at the prestigious Juilliard conservatory but left in 1996 before earning a degree.

After a number of smaller stage productions and a small role in the movie Patch Adams (1998), Alan landed his first Broadway role in 1999 with "Epic Proportions." He quickly became a sought-after comedic actor, with roles in such films as 28 Days (2000) and A Knight's Tale (2001).

In 2002, Alan got the role of Wash, the wise-cracking pilot of Serenity on the short-lived series Firefly (2002). Although it lasted only eleven episodes, this may be Alan's most well-known and best-loved role. No other networks would buy the failed series, but Universal Pictures began courting creator Joss Whedon to produce a big-screen version of the series. While awaiting the final news of Firefly's fate, Alan played the beloved Steve the Pirate in the movie Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004) and the voice of the robot Sonny in I, Robot (2004).

In 2005, Alan finally reprised the role of Wash in Serenity (2005), the feature-film version of the series Firefly. The same year, he went back to Broadway from June to November, taking over the role of Lancelot for Hank Azaria in the successful musical "Spamalot."

Michael Rooker was born on April 6, 1955 in Jasper, Alabama. When he was thirteen, his parents divorced and he went with his mother to live in Chicago. He caught the acting bug while attending college, and began appearing in local stage productions. On first breaking into film, his intensity and "don't-mess-with-me" good looks were highlighted to chilling effect as the title character in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), filmed in 1986 but, due to its controversial nature, not released until 1990. Since that widely noticed and highly praised performance, much of his career has been spent playing brutes, villains and psychopaths. However, his occasional turns as a "good guy" are always well-acted and a welcome change for a talented actor too often typecast.

2017 marks an exciting time for Rooker, as he starred in two films premiering just two months of each other. On March 17, audiences saw Rooker in Blumhouse Tilt's indie horror thriller The Belko Experiment (2016). The film is the terrifying yet humorous look at a group of employees that become guinea pigs in a company-wide experiment that leads them to either kill their fellow employees or be killed themselves. Returning to his indie roots, Rooker starred as maintenance worker, Bud Melks, one of the employees trapped in the office building, who may or may not be able to kill his fellow staff member. On May 5, Rooker reprised his role as Yondu in the highly anticipated sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). The film follows the same group of galactic underdogs saving the universe to a stellar soundtrack. Rooker's breakout performance earned him critical acclaim, as audiences were introduced to a more dramatic Yondu. The film went on to earn over $145 million domestically its opening weekend and has surpassed its predecessor by grossing over $850 million worldwide.

Rooker made his film debut, playing the title role in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), a film based on the confessions of serial killer Henry Lee Lucas. It was here that audiences were first introduced to Rooker's impeccable ability to channel a character's idiosyncrasies and subtleties. He has also starred in some of the most iconic films, such as Mississippi Burning (1988), Sea of Love (1989), JFK (1991), Tombstone (1993) and Jumper (2008) to name a few. In August 2014, Rooker starred in one of the most memorable franchises in the Marvel Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), as Yondu, the blue-skinned renegade space pirate and surrogate father to Peter Quill. On the television front, Rooker is best known for his series regular role as Merle Dixon on AMC's hit series The Walking Dead (2010). Audiences loved to hate the ill-tempered redneck hunter and were sad to see him killed off the series in season three. Rooker has completed a variety of stints on some of the most prominent series on television: Criminal Minds (2005), CSI: Miami (2002), Las Vegas (2003), Law & Order (1990) and Archer (2009), among others. Additionally, Rooker's talents go beyond both film and television. Grace Chan was born in San Diego, California, but grew up in Hong Kong. She was raised with the influence of her Chinese father and Australian mother. In 2010, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she studied and honed her craft of dancing. In 2018, Grace attended Pace University in New York City to study commercial dance. She then moved back to Atlanta in 2020 and began working in the professional dance industry, while studying acting as well. Grace has been able to work on major films and commercials, using both her acting and dancing skills.

Milly Alcock is an Australian actress who catapulted to global fame after starring as young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the first season of the HBO television series House of the Dragon (2022), a prequel to HBO's Game of Thrones (2011). For the role, Alcock received a nomination for Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She is also known for Upright (2019), for which she was nominated for Best Comedy Performer at the 10th AACTA Awards. She's appeared in TV shows Janet King (2017), A Place to Call Home (2018), Pine Gap (2018), Fighting Season (2018), Les Norton (2019), Reckoning (2019), and The Gloaming (2020).

Matthias Schoenaerts was born on December 8, 1977 in Antwerp, Belgium. His mother, Dominique Wiche, was a costume designer, translator, and French teacher, and his father was actor Julien Schoenaerts. He made his film debut at the age of 13 alongside his father in the Belgian film Daens (1992), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Schoenaerts enrolled in film school but was expelled for poor attendance in his second year. By age 21, he was enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Antwerp and was acting professionally in small roles on Belgian television and in Belgian film. By the time he graduated in 2003, Schoenaerts was already named one of "Europe's Shooting Stars" by the influential marketing organization, European Film Promotion.

In 2002, he starred in Dorothée Van Den Berghe's directorial debut Meisje (2002), which was also his first feature film since Daens. With his role in Tom Barman's Any Way the Wind Blows (2003), he proved he was Flanders' young actor to watch.

In 2004, Schoenaerts produced and starred in the short film A Message from Outer Space (2004). He also appeared in Ellektra (2004) alongside his father.

In 2006, he had a small role as a member of the Dutch Resistance in Paul Verhoeven's Black Book (2006), and landed his first starring role in the Belgian film Dennis van Rita (2006), playing Dennis, a mentally-challenged man learning to adjust to life after a prison sentence for a rape he may not have committed.

Though Schoenaerts garnered critical praise for his role in "Love Belongs to Everyone", the film that would make him a star in his homeland came in 2008, in Erik Van Looy's Loft (2008), Schoenaerts played Filip, one of a group of married friends who share the rent on a downtown loft as a place to meet their respective mistresses. The dramatic thriller was a smash hit, becoming the top-grossing Flemish film of all time. In the same year, he also starred in the horror film Linkeroever (2008).

In 2009, he worked once again with director Dorothée Van Den Berghe, playing the hippie Raven in My Queen Karo (2009). In 2010, he played the lead role in Alex Stockman's techno-thriller Pulsar (2010).

In 2011, Schoenaerts starred in Michaël R. Roskam's Bullhead (2011), playing Jacky Vanmarsenille, a cattle farmer who becomes entangled with the underworld of bovine hormones and steroids. Impressed by the script, Schoenaerts committed to star in the film in 2005, and over the five years that it took first-time director Roskam to secure financing, the actor transformed his naturally thin body into that of a steroid-abusing brute. His powerful performance in the tragic role won awards at numerous film festivals and propelled "Bullhead" to an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film in 2012.

In 2012, Schoenaerts got the lead role opposite Marion Cotillard in Jacques Audiard's Rust and Bone (2012); in the film he played Ali, an ex-boxer who falls in love with Cotillard's character. Like Audiard's previous films, "Rust and Bone" received a breathless reception at the Cannes Film Festival with a 10-minute standing ovation at the end of its screening and was a critical and box office hit in France. Schoenaerts' performance in the film earned him a César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2013.

Schoenaerts also starred in the Belgian short film Death of a Shadow (2012), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2013 and won the European Film Award for Best European Short.

Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the son of Coni (Lemke), a photographer, and Joseph Momoa, a painter. His father is of Native Hawaiian and Samoan descent; and his mother, who is from Iowa, is of German, Irish, and Native American ancestry. Jason was raised in Norwalk, Iowa, by his mother. Howard character, Momoa began shooting in Bulgaria. His approach, like that of the filmmakers, was to pull from the eight decades of comics and stories as well as the Frank Frazetta images rather than the hugely popular 1982 movie. Jason has a production company, Pride of Gypsies, in which he is expanding his career from actor to filmmaker. He has directed a couple of short films and is working on his feature film debut Road to Paloma (2014), which is pulled from a series of stories that he's been developing over the years, which he calls the Brown Bag Diaries: Ridin' the Blinds in B Minor (2010). Xolo Maridueña was born on June 9, 2001 and raised in Los Angeles, California and started acting professionally in 2011. His natural talent helped him quickly secure an agent, and he landed dozens of roles within his first year. Those included several television commercials, a recurring role on "Parenthood" which has become a series regular role. He has also appeared in Showtime's Twin Peaks, and the TV dram Major Crimes. Maridueña stars as Miguel in the Netflix original Cobra Kai, the continuation of the Karate Kid franchise.

Katelyn Nacon is an American actor born June 11, 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia USA, best known for her series roles as Enid in The Walking Dead, Elisia in T@GGED and Sammi in Light As A Feather. Katelyn also stars in three new theatrical releases that all came out in the winter of 2023, Devil's Peak, Linoleum, and Southern Gospel.

In her middle school years, Katelyn's interest was piqued in acting while attending a local workshop in Atlanta, GA and summer acting camps in Santa Monica, CA. In 2013, Katelyn landed her first role in a locally produced industrial film Loving Generously, where she played a supporting role as the teenage daughter Megan. In 2014, Katelyn landed her first national television appearance as a co-star on ABC's Resurrection and gained worldwide attention in the same year as Chloe Cook on Cartoon Network Adult Swim's Too Many Cooks, an episode that quickly went viral on YouTube.
