Lost film that adapted L. Frank Baum's books "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", "The Marvelous Land of Oz", "Ozma of Oz" and "John Dough and the Cherub". Only the narration script, read by L. Frank Baum himself, and production stills survive.

Family-oriented TV series, produced by MGM, in which guest hosts and animated versions of the "Wizard of Oz" characters were used as wrap-arounds to introduce various family-oriented films from the MGM film library ("Lili," "The Glass Slipper," among others), usually shown in two parts, nature documentaries, and original programming, most notably the Emmy-nominated "Whatever Happened to Mother Goose?," featuring an all-star cast as various Mother Goose characters.

Debbie (_sic_) is a young woman who is running a drygoods store with her sweetheart, a fine young man who buys her a bracelet for $20. Unable to raise the $20, he is threatened with the loss of the store. Also, an elderly lady protests that Toto has been digging holes in her lawn, although Toto was played by a puppy barely able to walk. The lady kidnaps Toto in her market basket, but he is rescued by Debbie's sweetheart. A cyclone comes and and Debbie gets hit on the head. She is not killed but awakes to find herself dreaming that she is in Oz. The plot then follows the MGM film even to the dialogue until Glinda sends Debbie and Toto back.

Running away from his evil guardian Mombi, Tip runs off to the Emerald City, where he gets caught up in a palace coup with the Army of Revolt.

Dorothy returns to Oz, discovers witch Mombi's plan to conquer with monster green elephants. With help from Pumpkinhead and Woodenhead, she tries to stop Mombi's army and warn her friends in Emerald City about the threat.

She meets Jack Pumpkinhead, The Hungry Tiger, and Tik Tok, while stopping the evil Tyrone the Terrible Toy Tinker (looking suspiciously like John R. Neil's depiction of the Nome King), who brings the balloon to life to conquer the Emerald City and all of Oz.
