Luke Humphries preserved his hopes of securing top spot in the BetMGM Premier League with a thrilling victory on Night 14 in Leeds.
With only three more Nights to go in the 2025 Premier League Darts, the race for a spot in the playoffs is heating up. Night 14 of the 2025 Premier League Darts is on Thursday, May 8, at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, England.
Defending champion Luke Littler bounced back to winning ways on Night 13 in Birmingham, claiming the title with a 6-4 victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final. With this victory, he also became the first player to qualify for the playoffs.
On Night 14, Littler will go up against Nathan Aspinall in the quarterfinals, while Rob Cross faces Gerwyn Price. Elsewhere, Luke Humphries will again face Van Gerwen, and Stephen Bunting will take on Chris Dobey.
Humphries defeated Luke Littler 6-5 in a compelling final to triumph at the First Direct Arena, having also claimed the spoils at this venue 12 months ago.
Leeds United fan Humphries received a terrific ovation on his return to West Yorkshire, and he delivered the goods to confirm his Play-Off qualification and celebrate his first nightly victory since Night Four.
Humphries recorded successive 6-4 wins over Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting to set up his latest showdown against Littler, before averaging 100.96 to seal his third nightly win of 2025.
