The line-up includes the kick-off of the All-Ireland SFC group phase, the much-anticipated Munster SHC clash between Limerick and Cork, and bouts from the Tailteann Cup, the Joe McDonagh Cup and the All-Ireland under-20 football championship.
However there are no games available on terrestrial TV on Saturday. Instead, three high-profile games will be shown on GAA+.
The senior action gets underway at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon with the meeting of Kerry and Roscommon in the round one of the All-Ireland SFC group phase.
The group phase clash of Galway v Dublin in Salthill will follow at 5pm, with the Leinster hurling showdown between Galway and Antrim will precede that game at Pearse Stadium, with a 1.30pm throw-in.
The Munster hurling championship dominates RTÉ's live coverage on Sunday, with Tipperary and Waterford going head to head for that third qualifying slot for the All-Ireland series at 2pm.
That is the curtain-raiser for the mouth-watering encounter between Limerick and Cork in the Gaelic Grounds.
Clubber is broadcasting the Joe McDonagh Cup meetings of Westmeath against Carlow on Saturday and the Laois versus Kildare on Sunday.
The Leinster MFC semi-finals - Kilkenny v Dublin and Galway v Wexford will be shown on TG4's YouTube channel, as will both Ulster MFC semi-finals will be shown live on
