Luke Littler withdraws from European Darts Grand Prix, but will play at World Cup of Darts in Germany. This prestigious tournament will take place at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen and is part of the PDC European Tour, a series of 14 events across Europe.
Gary Anderson will begin his defence of the Elten Safety Shoes European Darts Grand Prix against either Gian van Veen or Nathan Rafferty, with the draw and schedule for this weekend’s event confirmed.
Luke Littler took to social media following German Darts Grand Prix to state he would not return to Germany until October. Stuart Pyke now reporting Littler will still play at next month's World Cup of Darts; watch Premier League Darts live on Sky Sports every Thursday.
In addition to the honor and a full house of enthusiastic fans, it is of course also about the prize money. A total of £175,000 will be distributed, with players who enter the first round in action assured of £1250. This amount eventually rises to the top prize of £30,000.

All participants starting from the first round are guaranteed £1250 in prize money, while the top-16 enter from the second round and receive £2,500 anyway. This amount eventually rises to the grand prize of £30,000 for the winner.
An important detail is that players who are automatically seeded via the Order of Merit and lose their first match will not be awarded prize money on the various rankings. This does apply to qualifiers who are later designated as seeded by the withdrawal of others.
