- Robert Plant Sr. was born on 10 October 1918 in Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom. He was married to Annie Plant. He died on 15 August 2004 in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom.Robert Plant's father.
- Maureen F. Wilson was born in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta). She has one younger sister, Shirley Wilson. Guitarist Vernon Pereira (1944 - 25 October 1976), who was a founding member of the Band of Joy with Chris Brown, was her cousin.
Maureen Wilson's father was chief of the Calcutta mounted police. Their family moved to Trinity Road, West Bromwich sometime after Indian independence, where he became a steel factory owner in Birmingham.
In 1966, Maureen Wilson met Robert Plant at a Georgie Fame concert, which at the last minute was canceled. From then on they began seeing each other and their relationship blossomed. Throughout the mid-1960s, Plant struggled financially. He played in various bands such as Listen, Band of Joy, and even had a few solo projects.
Plant later acknowledged that Maureen Wilson, who was working as a qualified nurse at the time, had helped him financially during this period of chopping and changing bands. Apparently, Plant even had a short stint working in Maureen's father's steel factory to make ends meet.
On November 9th, 1968, Robert Plant and Maureen Wilson got married. The reception took place at the Roundhouse, a venue Led Zeppelin played earlier that evening.
In 1969, Maureen Plant traveled with Led Zeppelin on their North American Spring Tour, however, this was her last ever tour on the road with the band. After that, she stayed on the family farm and looked after their children. Also in 1969, Robert Plant dedicated the track "Thank You" to his wife Maureen Wilson. The song featured on their second album, Led Zeppelin II.
They had three children: Carmen Plant (born 21 October 1968); Karac Plant (20 April 1972 - 26 July 1977); and Logan Romero Plant (born January 21 1979). Robert was present for the birth of all 3 of their children.
The day after the last Earls Court date, on March 26th 1975, Robert Plant, Maureen, and their two children set out on a trip to Marrakech, Morocco. Jimmy Page, his girlfriend Charlotte Martin and their daughter, Scarlet Page, joined the Plants in June. The two families traveled through July and wound up on the Greek island of Rhodes. On August 3rd, Page left to check on some property in Sicily. The next day, Maureen Plant was driving her family and Scarlet Page in a rented Austin Mini car down a narrow road on the island when she lost control. The car hit a tree hard. Thrown against the steering wheel, Maureen suffered life-threatening injuries and had lost a large amount of blood. Robert first thought Maureen was dead. Maureen's leg was broken, her pelvis fractured, and she suffered concussion for 36 hours from a fractured skull. Robert and their children were seriously injured but Scarlet Page was unhurt. Charlotte Martin and Maureen's sister Shirley Wilson, who were following in the car behind managed to get medical help, but there was concern the local facilities were inadequate and Swan Song Records tour manager Richard Cole was contacted to bring the Plant's back home to England for emergency treatment. Band manager Peter Grant arranged for two Harley Street specialists as well as blood plasma to be sent via private jet in the meantime. While Robert had to be moved again to the Channel Islands for tax reasons and recuperation, Maureen remained in London to continue recovery. Robert wrote the song 'Tea for One', about his feelings for her on tours away from home.
Karac Plant was at the tender age of five when he became suddenly ill with an unidentified viral infection. On July 26th 1977, Led Zeppelin traveled to New Orleans for the next show. As they were checking into the hotel, Robert received a call from his wife Maureen at the family's farmhouse near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The first phone call said his son was sick, and within the next two hours later, she informed Robert that Karac had passed away. Earlier Karac had felt ill and been ordered to bed by the family doctor, but his condition deteriorated. Maureen called an ambulance but he failed to respond to treatment and died on the way to Kidderminster General Hospital on Tuesday 26 July 1977. Robert Plant was shocked and devastated. An autopsy held on Monday 1 August 1977, revealed Karac had died from natural causes. Only a week earlier Carmen had become ill with the same stomach enteritis which affected Karac. Karac's funeral and cremation was held in the first week of August 1977.
Logan Romero Plant was born on 27 January 1979. His birth hardened Robert's resolve not to tour the United States for any length of time.
Robert and Maureen divorced in 1982, but they have remained friends.
Maureen Plant dated Ian Hatton, guitarist for Jason Bonham, around 1991. In October 2010, she attended a number of UK shows of the Robert Plant and the Band of Joy European Tour 2010.Robert Plant's ex-wife and mother of his children Carmen, Karac and Logan. - Carmen Jane is the eldest children and the only daughter of Led Zeppelin's frontman Robert Plant and his wife Maureen Plant. She was born in Birmingham, England and is of Romani descent from her father's side and Indian descent from her mother's. She has two younger brothers, Karac Plant and Logan Romero Plant, and a younger half brother from her father's side, Jesse Lee Plant aka Jordan Plant.
The 1972 Led Zeppelin song, "The Ocean," actually references Carmen Jane Plant in one of the lyrics: "'I'm singin' all my songs to the girl who won my heart/She's only three years old but it's a real fine way to start".
During the 1970s, she attended the Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
In an interview for the People magazine (December 20 1976) Robert explains: "Carmen used to think she had two fathers-the one whose singing she heard through the speakers and the one on whose knee she was sitting. They (Carmen and Karac) love it when I come back to tell them tales."
On October 2007 Robert Plant admitted he regrets staying on tour throughout the 1970's because he feels his daughter grew up without knowing who he was. Robert claimed he once mistook him for a burglar after he came home from a particularly long tour: "What I recall for the first two years is my daughter not really knowing who I was and getting rather agitated when I came back off tour, as she thought I'd come to rob the house."
She was also a passenger in Robert and Maureen Plant's car involved in a road accident on the Greek island of Rhodes on 4 August 1975. The Plant family were seriously injured when their hired Austin Mini skidded off the road and collided with a tree. In the back-seat, Carmen suffered a broken wrist, cuts and bruises. In 1977, Carmen also became ill with the same stomach enteritis which took the life of her younger brother Karac Plant.
On 21 November 1989, Led Zeppelin reformed with Jason Bonham on drums, for Carmen's 21st birthday party at Hen & Chickens public house in Oldbury, West Midlands. They performed 'Trampled Under Foot', 'Misty Mountain Hop', and 'Rock and Roll', with Chris Blackwell and Phil Johnstone in support. The Nashville Teens and Jimmy Page's daughter Scarlet Page, were also in attendance.
Carmen Plant got married to Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's bass player Charlie Jones, at St. Peter's Church, on 18 May 1991. Their wedding reception was held in a series of marquees at Robert's farm at Kidderminster. Roy Harper's song 'Evening Star' was written for Carmen for the occasion. Carmen and Charlie Jones have three children, their eldest a daughter named Sunny Plant-Jones. The family lives in Bath, Somerset.
Plant works as a professional dancer and teaches belly-dancing and ethnic dancing. She was tutored in belly-dancing by Serena Ramzy, wife of Hossam Ramzy who performed in Page & Plant's No Quarter Middle Eastern orchestra. Carmen Plant has appeared at the Rivermead Womad Music Festival, Glastonbury Festival, and with the Babylon Arabic Ensemble.
Carmen continues to carry on the family's musical legacy through Middle Eastern-inspired performing arts. In a 2018 article about her dance production 'The Serpent Slayer', Carmen Jane Plant acknowledges her fortunate upbringing.
"I come from a musical family, obviously through my dad, my husband, and my children as well. Thanks to my dad, I grew up listening to an alternative and eclectic range from a young age and that really provided the inspiration for me to get involved with all kinds of music. It's all that I've known really, so it's great that I can put this all in to practice."Robert and Maureen Plant's daughter. - Karac Plant was born on 22 April 1971 in Worcestershire, England, UK. He died on 26 July 1977 in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England, UK.Robert and Maureen's son, died in his infancy.

- Patricia Page was born in 1924 in Croydon, Surrey, Kent, England.Jimmy Page's mother.
- Charlotte Martin was born as Catherine Martin in Paris, France, and had an extremely structured, confined childhood. In that world there was no room for space, color, freedom or excitement. She initially escaped through physically changing her environment by moving to London; through modeling in Paris, Milan and London she changed her name from Catherine to Charlotte, creating a new identity for herself and she embarked on a lifestyle of no boundaries... out of control, in the hedonistic world of living with the cream of 1960s London's music and fashion world. Her name has been linked to Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Jimmy Page and Martin Sharp, Australia's most famous pop artist.
From 1965 until 1968 Charlotte Martin was Eric Clapton's girlfriend, until she hooked-up with George Harrison, who then was married to Pattie Boyd, who eventually would marry Clapton. She was introduced to Led Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page on his 26th birthday on January 9th 1970 by Roger Daltrey and his girlfriend Heather Daltrey after the Royal Albert Hall gig. That night was the beginning of a long and stormy relationship of Jimmy and Charlotte. They had one daughter, Scarlet Page, born in March 24th 1971, who is now a photographer. They separated around 1983.
Martin has been married to Ernest D. Riall since 2005, and has two grand-children from her only daughter Scarlet. Today Charlotte is an artist and painter. Through her painting she is exploring philosophically her escape from her dark childhood world, and the links she has with the 1960s pop culture remain strongly with her in her present search for the balance of chaos and structure, as well as a need for looking through "frames within frames". She frequently uses nature as well as urban jungles as filters. She has exhibited in many venues in and around Maidenhead, Berkshire (England), where her studio is located. Martin has accepted various freelance commissions, and her art is represented in collections both local and further afield.Jimmy Page's long-term girlfriend in the 1970s/80s. James Page Jr. was born on 26 April 1988 in London, England, UK. He is a producer and director, known for Professor Longhair, Rugged & Funky, Streetcar (2011) and Duet (2012).Jimmy Page's son with his first wife Patricia Ecker.- Bonham was the son of John 'Jacko' Henry Bonham, Snr (d. 1989) and Joan Bonham née Sargent (1926 - 2011). Like his brother, Mick Bonham attended Wilton House Private School in Redditch, but completed secondary education at Ridgeway Comprehensive School. Throughout the 1970s, Bonham worked at the Old Hyde Farm in Worcestershire. His brother John placed him in charge of maintenance and helping run the family farm.
Bonham was a collector of Motown music and introduced John to various artists when he had returned home from touring with Led Zeppelin. He first saw Led Zeppelin in action at Club Lafayette, Wolverhampton on 24 February 1969 and was impressed by their performance. Bonham later was invited on-stage and played congas during 'Whole Lotta Love', when Led Zeppelin performed at the Preston Public Hall on 23 November 1971. He also had a brief cameo appearance in the film The Song Remains the Same when John was playing billiards in the local public house. Bonham was also a photographer and took hundreds pictures of John and the Old Hyde Farm, of which a number were published in his biographies of John, and some unpublished ones later reused as part of the background projection during Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience tours of North America. These images gave an in-sight into an intimate family-side of John Bonham which was rarely reported in the media. Mick also took photographs of the Worcestershire area which have been used in local history displays.
In late 1975, at the height of the disco era, Mick Bonham operated the first Dolly Disc franchise in the United Kingdom. Professional entertainers with Dolly Disc included Connie Chapman, Karen Pennington, Jilly Davies, and Vicky Harten.
After John's death, Mick briefly looked after the Old Hyde Farm. A long-time friend of tribute band Fred Zeppelin, he used to introduce them when they performed in Redditch. It was after reading sensationalist news stories about John that Mick decided to set the record straight. Contributing to Chris Welch's and Geoff Nicholls' 2001 book John Bonham: A Thunder of Drums, Bonham had only just arranged to have his first book published when he died suddenly from a myocardial infarction on 14 January 2000. Writing in a warm but direct style, his first biography Bonham by Bonham: My Brother John was published posthumously in 2003. This book was followed up with John Bonham: The Powerhouse Behind Led Zeppelin in 2005, which included additional interviews and was based on a near-completed manuscript Mick Bonham was finishing at the time of his death.John and Deborah Bonham's brother. - Patricia Bonham was previously married to John Bonham.John Bonham's wife and mother of their 2 children.
