Steffen Brandt was born on June 14th 1953 in Åbyhøj, Denmark. Formed
the band Taurus in October 1973 which throughout the seventies played a
combination of fusion jazz and Pink Floyd-inspired English
compositions. Their debut album "Whatever happened to the sixties" was
released in 1978.
The band split up in 1979, but later rejoined as "Taurus Version 2" or as they are more widely known; TV-2. They released their first album, "Fantastiske Toyota", in 1981 and have since released 17 albums and has become one of the most popular bands in Denmark. Their latest album, "På kanten af småt brændbart", was released on November 8th 2002.
