- American animator who spent most of his early career at Warner Brothers, drawing iconic characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Foghorn Leghorn for Chuck Jones. Beginning in 1943, he sidelined as a comic book artist for Western Publishing. From the 1950's, he worked almost exclusively on Disney comics, primarily Chip 'n' Dale but also including Goofy, Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck. Later in the decade, he also provided artwork for MGM ('Tom & Jerry') and Walter Lantz ('Woody Woodpecker').
