    • Trivia
In 1993 he was a passenger in a car which was involved in a crash in the Dordogne in France. He sustained a punctured lung, a cracked sternum, a broken shoulder blade and a fractured arm, and head and neck injuries. The head injuries resulted in serious long term memory problems, meaning he could not memorize scripts, drastically affecting his acting career, particularly theatre work, which he was no longer able to do. Television work was also reduced to one-off guest appearances.
