Ron Fassler
Ron Fassler began his acting career in New York both on and off-Broadway and created a name for himself as a much in-demand actor in radio and TV commercials. The bulk of his work then shifted to Los Angeles where his film and television work continued, until he returned to New York full-time in 2016 to pursue new avenues of work as an actor, writer and director. Among his writing credits are the Emmy Award winning "Murphy Brown" and co-writing with Nancey Silvers, the Lifetime film "The Wedding Wish." He was recently seen in 2015's "Trumbo," starring Bryan Cranston and directed by Jay Roach, and 2017's "The Rebel in the Rye" written and directed by Danny Strong. He is also the author of "Up in the Cheap Seats: A Historical Memoir of Broadway," which tells of his teenage theatre going years, when during a four-year period, he saw 200 Broadway shows, all paid for with the proceeds of his Long Island paper route. Included are up-to-date interviews with a hundred artists who were at work during those golden years, including Stephen Sondheim, Harold Prince, Bette Midler, James Earl Jones, Jane Alexander and many more.
