Arnold Kunert

He was given a Saturn Award at the 32nd Saturn Awards ceremony on May 2, 2006, for his 2-disc DVD, "Ray Harryhausen: The Early Years Collection." In 2008, he and John Rosas were given a Rondo Award as "Best DVD Collection" for their boxed set of three Harryhausen DVDs. As a life-long admirer of Ray Harryhausen's films, Kunert campaigned successfully to get Harryhausen a Lifetime Achievement Oscar in 1992 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003. Kunert also acted as Harryhausen's agent during the 2000s and arranged for all of his North American appearances at special events and book signings.
