Edit
  • Trivia
One of his most famous roles that afforded him the greatest International exposure also proved to be his most memorable and poignant where he's cast as a simpleton rural laborer (appropriately named 'Ah Kun') who along with his kinsmen in Thailand all fall victim to labor exploitation and treachery. Li's laborer/sojourner is identifiable by all symbolizing the collective perseverance and long-suffering of the mid-20th Century working-class Chinese sojourner scraping by to make ends meet aboard. In a memorable parting scene, a lifeless Ah-Kun is being cradled and mourned in the arms of Bruce Lee's proud protagonist who's vigilant resolve needs no explanation in Lo Wei's 'Tang Shan Da Xiong' aka 'The Big Boss'.
