Sharon McManus in Anchors Aweigh (1945)
At the age of 7 in Anchors Aweigh, she had a charming role as a little girl in a Hollywood Mexican marketplace, dancing with Gene Kelly. It is an extraordinary piece of dancing, that still charms 76 years later. At first she seems to just be a random kiddo watching Kelly dance. But then he twirls her in, and they take off for several minutes of rapid dancing, and she keeps right up, at the age of 7!
