We’ve reached “The Final Chapter,” of Joe Carroll’s book, but it’s not the final chapter of this series. There will be another season, and therein lies the crux of this finale.
At the end of last week’s episode, Debra was buried alive, with Claire taken aboard a boat, with Joe intending to execute his ex-wife.
Ryan and company are panicked about Debra, and see that she was taken following the murdering spree at the shelter. They try the obvious thing: give her a call. The phone, luckily, is able to get service under ground and still has battery life. Debra answers, terrified, telling them all she knows about her location. Tonight is the highly anticipated season finale of Fox’s The Following and fans are waiting to see if all the major questions will be answered. Will Ryan (Kevin Bacon) save both Parker (Annie Parisse) and Claire (Natalie Zea)? Will he catch and/or kill Joe Carroll (James Purefoy)? Is Weston (Shawn Ashmore) secretly a bad guy? EW talked to The Following’s mastermind Kevin Williamson about tonight’s can’t-miss season finale.
Entertainment Weekly: So what can you say about the episode, fittingly called “The Final Chapter.”
Kevin Williamson: It really does continue Joe Carroll’s descent into madness.

Jacob has been struggling with his place in Joe's cult since the beginning of "The Following." This week, as Joe put into play an elaborate escape plan, Jacob saw a way out. His downfall, though, was that he envisioned getting out with Emma. They both loved Joe, but he underestimated just how deep in his thrall she is.
With the FBI having tracked the house the cult had been using as their headquarters, it was time for the cult-members to scatter -- with some of them sacrificing themselves to help facilitate Joe's escape. Claire managed to get away again, causing even more injury to Joe in the process, but once again it was Emma and Jacob who caught her.
After they delivered her to Joe, who took off in a boat, Jacob made his plea to Emma. "All of those people, they just gave up their lives," he said. "And for what?...

Sometimes I wonder what The Following would be like without Kevin Bacon.
There's such a strong presence whenever he appears on screen, delivers a line, gives a steely stare or shoots a bad guy. Bacon brings that gravitas to the character, helping me believe in every rogue move that Ryan Hardy makes or gritty edge during an interrogation scene.
Sure, sometimes it baffles me that Ryan has such spot-on hunches (seriously, how did he spot the cult mansion on that map?), but I'm more able to go along with it because it's Bacon.
Even now with 14 episodes down, I still enjoy watching Ryan hunt down his enemies, although I do wish we got to see some more of his cocky attitude like when he was all tied up in "The Fall."
But if Bacon wasn't commanding the lead character like he does in every episode, I'm not sure that the...

I have no idea what's going to happen for The Following Season 2, much less on the finale in two weeks.
Except the problem becomes not so much in being surprised by what's to come, but taking a roller coaster full of thrills and scares that jerks you up and down in something that feels like an endless loop. What is the end game?
I don't mind getting scared or shocked, especially if that's what the show hinges on to feed into the dark tone - but at some point, you have to feel like it's moving towards something beyond the simplistic "catch and stop the bad guy."
Unfortunately, with an episode like "Havenport, not much really changed in the grand scheme of things. And this has been the case for awhile now. Sure, some pieces are moved around the board, but have we really progressed into new territory? Has the larger story really shifted?...

"The Life We've Chosen" were appropriately Ari's last words and summed up the episode well. Though, it could just as easily have been titled for what Alex said, "Because you say it is?" The mission to get Alex back was full of difficult choices and conflict, which likely will stick with the team members.
In the new Division, the management structure is complicated with Ryan running the joint, but both Nikita and Michael are in leadership roles too. Alex's question could have been poised by and to several members of the team throughout the hour. While this new organization is supposed to be better, one area that it lacks is in command and obedience. Perhaps, the lack of blind obedience is a good thing though.
Ryan and Nikita often have discussed how they want to do things differently and better this time, but Ryan failed horribly when he decided...

Ryan Hardy’s hunt for Joe Carroll’s cult of acolytes will become slightly less difficult this Monday on The Following (Fox, 9/8c) when the ex-fbi agent is officially deputized — aka he finally gets his gun back.
The following exclusive clip finds Parker (played by Annie Parisse) reluctantly swearing in Hardy (Kevin Bacon) for duty — but not before she makes it clear that stunts like the near-fatal one he and Weston (Shawn Ashmore) pulled in last week’s installment will no longer be tolerated.

On "True Believer," Nikita faced off against a former agent that could have been her. This situation deeply affected Nikita and her ability to effectively do her job.

FX has announced that Wilfred has been renewed for a third season. The next round of episodes, totaling 13 in all, will begin production next spring for a June 2013 start date.
There are two big changes that will occur for the upcoming season of Wilfred, as David Zuckerman has stepped down from his role as showrunner, replaced by Reed Agnew and Eli Jorné, who were involved in the first two seasons. Zuckerman, who adapted the original Australian series for American television, will reportedly stay put on Wilfred as an executive producer.
Additionally, Wilfred will be without Louie for the first time next summer, as the latter was put on an extended hiatus recently and won't return until the spring of 2014. Thus, it should be interesting to see what FX chooses to do with the Thursdays at 10:30 time slot next summer. They could always move Anger Management into the 10:00 hour,...

After dancing around the idea from the time they met one year ago, George and Dallas are finally embarking on their first date. It should be a time of great excitement; their relationship is evolving for the better and they no longer have to keep their feelings for one another a secret or watch the other date around. They seemed to be on the same page regarding their relationship at the Halloween party last week, but on tonight's episode of Suburgatory, it looks like there's still a certain amount of distance between them.
Dallas is letting her insecurity take over her pre-date emotional state and enlists multiple people in her life to help her relax. Unexpectedly, Dalia proves to be a comfort to her mother, punctuating a (hilarious) list of the qualities that George lacks in comparison to past beaus with kind words about how he "landed in the tall...

It's a whole new Division on Nikita Season 3, but in many ways it's just the same.
With Percy dead, Division has been revamped to do good. Ryan Fletcher's at the helm with Nikita and Michael by his side. The government offered amnesty to any former Division agents that came in; and while many did, some of the most dangerous decided to go rogue.
In "3.0," the first task of the new Division was to track down these rogue agents, The Dirty Thirty, and take care of them. Their inaugural mission was to hunt down Martin, who discretely killed a CIA asset in Hong Kong.
The mission didn't go according to plan at all. Martin was smart and got suspicious when the model he was sleeping with received a wrong number phone call. With that chaos ensued, Martin broke the model's neck and called the police to report the assault in...

No one is safe ... especially, from the looks of the promo below, in the final two minutes of next week's NCIS. Will "Til Death Do Us Part" closes out the ninth season in tragic fashion?
On May 15, terrorism threatens to shake the foundations of the U.S. Navy and NCIS, when the team continues to be eluded by the newest member of the agency's Most Wanted Wall.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Palmer’s destination wedding is impacted by the case, which left off in surprising fashion last night (read our review of "Up in Smoke") with Vance's apparent kidnapping.
Moreover, the connections of Jamie Lee Curtis' character, and Scott Wolf's, to Dearing and the case remain a mystery, leaving Gibbs & Co. scrambling for answers and desperate to uncover the next target.

Who are you? What are you? Why are you?
Ryan asked these questions of Wilfred during a fit of hysteria in "Identity," and I for one, cannot wait to find out the answers.
Throughout the season finale, Ryan slipped deeper and deeper down the proverbial slope, to a point where he was back to using dirt to win cases, switching urine to save clients, and basically doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
What did it cost him? Well, he forced his pregnant sister to leave her husband and move to India. He pushed Jenna to marry Drew, because she believes that she has a baby on the way. And he caused his pal Wilfred to jump in front of a moving car, which severely injured him, and might have rid him of his memories.
But after Wilfred's fit of amnesia, be it real or artificial, Ryan remembered...

Michael Becker / FX Jason Gann on “Wilfred”
Going along with our “Wilfred”-as-morality-play theme, today’s quote comes from George Orwell:

We wonder who exactly will be accepting what today on the series. Will Wilfred accept Ryan’s noted lameness? Will Ryan accept Wilfred’s obvious drug and alcohol addictions? Will Jenna accept Ryan as her new boyfriend?
No time to tell. Ryan’s jogging along the street and breathing rather heavily. If...

Hand-drawn animation, lovable characters, and a timeless story all make Winnie The Pooh a must see in the theaters!
All is well in the Hundred Acre Wood. Winnie the Pooh is in search of honey. There is no honey left in his house and his tummy will not stop grumbling at him until Pooh finds some. While on his quest he finds Eeyore, who seems more down than normal. Turns out that his tail has gone missing. They gather up the gang and hold a contest to see who can find Eeyore a new tail. While out and about, searching for tails and such, Pooh finds a note from Christopher Robin that says “Gone out. Busy. Back soon.” and brings it to Owl to read. See, there isn’t a lot of reading going on in the Hundred Acre Wood, and Owl is the smartest of them all. Of course,...

While "Hallelujah," his ABC pilot didn't pan out, it didn't take long for Emmy-winning "Lost" alum Terry O'Quinn to find his way back to television.
In a fitting move, O'Quinn will feature in an island-set show filmed in Hawaii once again, as TV Line reports that he'll have a very important recurring role on "Hawaii 5-0." O'Quinn will take on the role of a Navy Seal Lt. Commander, who, having trained McGarrett (played by Alex O'Loughlin), "holds some of the answers to the mysteries surrounding the respective murders of McGarrett’s mother and father."
The role will reunite him with "Lost" cast mate Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Chin Ho Kelly.
O'Quinn has plenty of experience playing a military man, as he played General Nicholas Alexander in seven episodes of "The West Wing," Col. Will Ryan in a guest appearance on "NCIS" and also played F.B.I. Assistant Director Kendall in "Alias.

Words to live by from A-List: New York's opening credits:
"The A-List is a crowded room. If you don't have a pot to piss in you probably shouldn't be there."
Well guys, I'm not sure exactly what that means, but consider this recap your very own piss pot.
It's your entree into gay A-List society, where you get to hobnob vicariously with the richly ironic and the famously shallow. But take heart! There's a lot to laugh at, and a few guys on this show you're really going to like.
If you're truly one of the haters and can't appreciate bad reality television (Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, etc.) at all, then the A-List and this recap probably aren't for you.
But I happen to like trainwreck reality TV, and on that front A-List: New York delivers!

So, last time on Glee (TV), Puck (Mark Salling) loses his mohawk and thinks he’s lost his mojo. He thinks dating the most popular girl in school, Mercedes (Amber Riley), will restore his status as the "King of Cool." But he has to learn a few things about dating a "sistah" before she’ll agree, and secretly, Mercedes is flattered. She just has to deal with Santana's (Naya Rivera) jealousy. Speaking of jealousy, Kurt is still jealous of Fin's (Cory Monteith) relationship with his dad, to the point that he’ll compromise his true self for flannels and John Mellencamp songs, to bond with his father. And Rachel (Lea Michele) loses her voice and her identity, until Fin shows her that she's more than just a girl who can carry a tune. Next week, Mr. Shuester's shattered dreams are brought to the forefront, when his former high school rival,...

The Barnacle: Had to be this exchanged started by Saul: "This wedding is more cursed than Liza Minelli's." Kevin: "That is the gayest thing you've ever said."
Dr. Shepherd: Sarah: "You pulled a Monica Lewinsky?" Kitty: "No! We never got caught."
M.L. House: I confess. I'm a sucker for Robert's proposal to Kitty and her response. I watched it 2-3 times and it moved me each time. Oops, was that out loud?
2. Did you think Kitty was going to make it?
M.L.

We're halfway through V's current run on ABC (the back nine episodes are slated to air after the Olympics), so with two episodes remaining--including tonight's at 8 pm Et/Pt, I am wondering just what you think will go down over the next two weeks. Unlike the first two episodes, I haven't yet seen tonight's installment of V, so I am as much in the dark about what will happen just as much as you are. But I am curious to know just what viewers of the alien invasion drama Want to see happen tonight and next week and what you think Will actually happen. Among the questions up for debate: Just what is Anna's plan and will we find out what the Vs want from Earth's inhabitants? Will Chad fall under her spell? Will Ryan be able to keep Valerie safe? Will Dale come gunning for Erica? Is the old priest a Visitor in disguise?...

When Disney released the first six volumes of its Animation Collections it wasn’t surprising to see Mickey and the Beanstalk or The Prince and the Pauper headlining two of the releases. After all, they represented two of the crown jewels of Disney’s short films collection. What was alarming was the omission of Mickey’s Christmas Carol, the beautifully animated take on Dickens’ seminal classic using some of the best old time Disney characters. There are a precious few animated Christmas films worthy of annual viewing. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Merry Christmas Charlie Brown are two of them and Mickey’s Christmas Carol rounds out the trio.
Mickey’s Christmas Carol (1983)
Directed by Burny Mattinson and written by Burny Mattinson and Tony Marino
Starring Alan Young, Wayne Allwine, Hal Smith, Will Ryan, Eddie Carroll, Patricia Parris, Dick Billingsley
Ebenezer Scrooge, ghosts of Christmas past, present and future...
