- Jennifer Stahl was born on April 11, 1962 in Titusville, New Jersey, USA. She was an actress, known for Dirty Dancing (1987), Firehouse (1987) and Identity Crisis (1989). She died on May 10, 2001 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.
- Her killer, Sean Salley, was caught in a homeless shelter in Miami,Florida, after being profiled on America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back (1988). As a former roadie, Salley threatened to kill singer George Clinton (of "Parliament" fame) after a dispute. Stahl once provided background vocals to a rap song Salley had recorded.
- The "Carnegie Deli Massacre" murder of Jennifer Stahl is detailed in the true-crime documentary series I (Almost) Got Away with It (2010) in the 14 December 2010 episode titled Got Shot Above a Deli (2010).
- Was killed on the evening of 10 May 2001 with two other people in her apartment in New York City. Two other victims including stylist Anthony Veader survived the shooting.
- Alleged by NYPD to have "supported herself with a thriving business in high-grade marijuana" located in an apartment over the Carnegie Deli.
