Delilah van Eyck

Delilah van Eyck (married surname: Warcup - van Eyck) is a Dutch actress with an international background, working mostly in television.
Her grandparents were of Indonesian, Dutch, Surinamese (part Creole, part Chinese) and German descent. Her nationality is Dutch (her parents met and married in The Netherlands) but for most of her first 16 years she lived abroad for her father's work as a leading tropical agriculturalist. She attended international schools during all of her secondary education and graduated with an International Baccalaureate. She then moved to Amsterdam to study English and later art history at the University of Amsterdam, but diverted into local theater classes before completing these studies. She went on to audition (and was accepted) at both the theater director's program at the Amsterdam University of the Arts as well as the ArtEZ School of Acting in Arnheim. She graduated from the latter four year program with a Bachelor's degree in acting.
After performing in several national plays she gravitated from the stage towards television acting, which is where most of her work now takes place. She also works steadily as a voice over artist in both Dutch and English: given her international schooling she speaks Mid-Atlantic American English like a native.
In 2024, she can be seen in new series by two of The Netherland's most successful television writer/directors: Frank Ketelaar and Diederik van Rooijen.
