- Johnny Wright has been musical manager of New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Stevie Brock, Ciara, The Jonas Brothers, Jessie James Decker, Jon O'Shaughnessy, Katelyn Tarver, Melise, Mark & James, Menudo, Sullee and Midwest City, among others.
- In 2003, served as a judge on the NBC reality show, Fame (2003), hosted by one of his former clients, Joey Fatone of the group *NSYNC. In 2005, Sean 'Diddy' Combs decided to form a new group of girls in MTV Making the Band 3 (2005) and asked Johnny to help him find the perfect combination of beauty and talent to form "Danity Kane". In 2006, his company Wright Entertainment Group (WEG) introduced The Jonas Brothers; and in 2007 to Mark & James, Katelyn Tarver, Jon O'Shaughnessy and Sullee. Another of his creations was the television program Making Menudo (2007), which aired in late 2007.

- Johnny Wright began his musical career in 1979 with 19 years as a DJ at a radio station in Massachusetts. Nearly ten years later, in 1988 began doing business with Maurice Starr, who founded and managed teen sensation group New Kids on the Block. Soon after, the New Kids took a sabbatical, so Johnny decided to open a dance club called Snap. Then he moved to Orlando, Florida, where he still lives.
