Sinéad Murphy is a writer and director with a lengthy industry career spanning over 20 years. Sinéad began as a researcher working for Ferndale Films then was an assistant director for numerous years working in Ireland and New Zealand, before crossing over into television working with Animo TV. She began directing in 2008 and has been series director with writing credits on multiple series in Ireland and the UK ranging from science to comedy. Most notably Anonymous series 3 and four, 2008 to 2009, literacy documentary series Stuck for Words, 2009, The Model Agent, 2010, TV comedy drama, Meet The Neighbours, 2011 and Channel 4's, Trojan Donkey, 2013. Sinéad directed series 3 to 7 of the RTÉ science series 10 things to Know About, in 2022 she produced and directed, Lets Talk About Sex with Richie Sadlier and PJ Gallagher's mental health documentary, Changing my Mind, 2024. Love and Depth was Sinead's first short film produced by 925 Productions in the last few years Sinéad has been writing and directing shorts including Repossession 2019, Screen Ireland funded EXPULSION 2020 and NI Screen funded, Border Memories. Sinéad is currently in post- production with her first feature, dark thriller, SLUDGE.
