Shane A. Doyle

Shane A. Doyle is the Sheriff of Edmonson County, Kentucky. As county sheriff, he welcomed in the crew of Live PD to the county, which sparked an interest in the film and television industry. Shane is a lifelong resident of the county he serves, and resides there with Jessica, his wife, and their two children, Preston and Marian. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Shane began his law enforcement career with the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office in 2004, and soon after graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice Training at Eastern Kentucky University. There he earned the top honor bestowed upon graduating recruits, known as the Recruit of Distinction award. In 2018 he was placed on the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council by the Governor of Kentucky. During his law enforcement career, he has well over 2000 hours of training in all areas of law enforcement. He was elected to his first term as Sheriff in 2015, and was re-elected to his second term in 2019.
