When Chef Michael Silverstein hit 350 pounds, he had hit rock bottom. Michael had left his career as a chef, and had given up on himself completely. That's when everything changed. Chef Michael decided that 'enough is enough'. He lost over 80 pounds in one year while sharing his recipes online, and quickly got noticed by many, including Gordon Ramsay. Just four years later, he is now a three-time bestselling cookbook author, was just crowned the runner-up on the All Star season of MasterChef, and has garnered over 600,000 followers on social media!
His life changed once he decided to finally love himself, and he works hard to help others do the same. Michael has openly shared his journey to health and wellness, inspiring millions of people around the world. As an out gay man, he fights for equality through extensive charity work, and loudly voices his belief that everyone, at any size, shape, identity, age, or race, deserves an equal chance at living their best life.
