Yanco Inone
- Additional Crew
- Actor
One of the greatest choreographers in cinema, Ricardo 'Yanco' Inone spent years in Argentina doing Rock n' Roll before immigrating to the USA where -with the help of his close friend Nick Navarro of West Side Story (1961)- began dancing onstage in productions like Flower Drum Song and revues at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He landed his first onscreen role in Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971), a role that the choreographer agreed to hold for him until he returned from Europe. Although he's starred alongside great performers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr, he's perhaps best known for his role as Freddie the Frog in New Zoo Revue, a television series geared towards children that concluded after 192 episodes. Yanco would say that he took the unconventional gig because it was different from anything he'd done in his career. He remembers sweating profusely in the costume too. Yanco spends his days in Las Vegas, Nevada and regularly keeps in touch with his co-stars from Hollywood.
