Michael Hirt honed his writing and directing skills at NYU Film School in New York and at the International Film & TV Workshops in Maine/USA. The polish was effectuated by film directors Michael Haneke ("The Piano Player"), Alan Myerson ("Police Academy", "Miami Vice"), Bill Linsman (commercials for Porsche, Audi, Honda and Head & Shoulders) and author Christopher Keane ("The Hunter" with Steve McQueen). In his Vienna-based profession as a writer & director Michael's interests range from screenplays and filmjournalism, to love letters and directing commercials and short films.
