Rabiya Mansoor

Rabiya Mansoor (she/they) is a Pakistani-Calgarian comedian, writer, actor, producer, and recovering lawyer. They have worked on shows at Netflix, CBC Gem, Crave, Disney Jr, and more, including DINO RANCH and STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: BERRY IN THE BIG CITY. Her co-created digital dramedy series about mental health in the South Asian community, GET UP, AISHA recently premiered on CBC Gem. They're in development on a slate of projects thanks to the support of funders like the Bell Fund, OntarioCreates, and CMF. Highlights include being a 2023 Content London Drama Pitch Finalist, one of Canada's Producers to Watch at Series Mania 2024, and one of The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Canada Women to Watch 2024. She produced, co-wrote, and co-starred in the critically acclaimed, multi-award winning sketch show, DON VALLEY GIRLS (Toronto Fringe Patron's Pick; David Seguin Memorial Award for Accessibility in the Arts; Why Not Theatre's RISER Toronto; Buddies in Bad Times Queer Pride Festival). They're an alum of Second City's Bob Curry Fellowship for diverse comedic voices and has performed at the Toronto, Chicago, and Montreal Sketch Comedy Festivals, including as her drag king persona, Amin Yourhouse. They are a graduate of the BIPOC TV & Film Kids TV Intensive, where she returned as a Teaching Assistant (2022) and Mentor (2023). In her spare time, she volunteers as a WGC delegate, Breakthroughs Film Festival treasurer, and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival board member - and is curing herself of her two left feet, aka learning to dance.
