- Maya Albana is a Danish director, screenwriter, producer and vocalist. In 1993 she founded the music group Nice Device together with Carsten Krøyer. After enjoying a couple of hits Nice Device split up in 1996 and Maya Albana became a solo artist. In 2003 she was accepted at the National Film School of Denmark and begun her life as film director, both making fiction and documentaries. She is probably best known for "Det sorte kapitel/The Black Chapter" (2019) which was about her relationship with her childhood friend Jeanette Ehlers.- IMDb mini biography by: DFI
