      • Trivia
Quaran Pender was nearly a victim in a 2012 fatal shooting in York City that turned into a hit on a drug-dealing associate. Pender and his alleged partner, Brandon Woodward, were invited to the City by their Queens associates to discuss their coast-to-coast cocaine operation. Woodward made the trip alone and was murdered execution-style by a gunman in broad daylight. Pender and an unidentified cohort stayed being in Los Angeles for reasons that are not clear as of recently. The investigation into Woodward's murder lead police to California, where Pender was arrested on May 14, 2013 for his alleged role in the bi-coastal cocaine ring.
