Exclusive: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is the subject of the latest season of podcast series Power.
Sony Music Entertainment and Somethin’ Else, the British production company the former acquired in June, are launching the series today, November 1. It tells the complex story behind Hefner’s rise and legacy told through the eyes of the women who knew him best.
It comes after the first season of Power, which profiled Robert Maxwell, launched earlier this year, and ahead of A&e’s documentary Secrets of Playboy, which launches in 2022.
Hosted by journalist and author Amy Rose Spiegel, the series will delve into Hefner’s rise to power and the origins of Playboy and investigate questions around the dark side of the brand, including notorious Mansion parties and Hefner’s manipulation and control of his girlfriends and other associates.

A healthier and happier Lindsay hit up the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat in Beverly Hills yesterday and talked about her new sober life!
It looks like Lindsay Lohan may finally be on the road to recovery, and may be losing that pesky Scram bracelet as early as next week! Lindsay and sister Ali Lohan were spotted at the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat yesterday where insiders told HollywoodLife.com the actress looked better than ever. Lindsay said she was no longer smoking or drinking and her Scram would be coming off much sooner than expected – possibly next week!
As for rumors of recent weight gain, the actress said she was working out four times a week by either boxing or hitting the gym. Lindsay also picked up some Under Armour pants to work out in for the time being and shorts in a size small to wear when her Scram comes off next week.
