With over two decades of experience as a law enforcement instructor, Joshua Villines is a consultant on a range of topics including firearms (marksmanship and tactics), criminal investigations, interviews and interrogation, behavioral threat assessment, counter-terrorism methodologies, and military custom and courtesy. He has served as a subject matter expert for multiple ANSI and ISO-accredited standards, as well as for international certification and state licensing exams. Joshua has also served as a consulting or testifying expert witness in a wide range of cases involving criminal violence, including mass casualty violence.
Originally trained in military intelligence in the United States Army, Joshua is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School, the Defense Language Institute (Russian), the Professional Leadership Development Course (PLDC), the Basic Non-Commissioned Officers' Course (BNCOC), and the United Kingdom Joint Service Interrogation course (JSIO). He holds a BA in Spanish from Berry College, and master's degrees from Mercer University and Vanderbilt University.
