- Was in a PBS film about the Molly McGuires, the secret society of Irish immigrant anthracite coal miners in Pennsylvania, who were embattled with the mine owners and the Pinkerton enforcers in the mid-1870's.
- Panel member in "So, Shoot Me......I'm An Actor" at the Vision Fest Film Festival at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in N.Y.C. in 2003.
- Played "Paul" in "Moon Over Buffalo."
- Performed with Roscoe Orman (Gordon from TV's "Sesame Street") and Fyvush Finkel (from Fox TV's "Boston Public") in the 2001 Read-A-Thon in Forest Park, Queens, New York. Whelski has signed a one-year contract with "Sesame Street" to do future engagements and events.
