Nisha Selvaraj

Nisha is a dedicated and versatile actor with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to her craft. Growing up in two different cultures, Malaysia and New Zealand, has allowed Nisha to bring a unique perspective to each performance. Through her training as a classical dancer and extensive life experience, Nisha is able to bring complex characters to life with grace, authenticity and depth. Nisha is similar in type to renowned actresses Simone Ashley and Ana de Armas, is highly skilled in performing in various accents, and speaks Tamil and Malay, allowing a wide range of representation. She portrayed Maria Elena in "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" for Showbiz in Christchurch, New Zealand and played the role of Juliet in a recent Shakespeare-based web-series called "Walking Shadows Vol.3" produced by Incognita Enterprises and directed by Sally McLean. Nisha continuously seeks to refine her craft through workshops and training. She completed the full time course at the Howard Fine Acting Studio, has done various improvisation courses and voice workshops and is an avid practitioner of meditation and the Alexander Technique.
