Cousin of comedian/actor Paul Reiser.

Brother of comedian/actress Robin Reiser.

Was diagnosed with spinal cancer at the age of 25. After going into remission, Seth Rogan encouraged him to write the movie 50/50 (which Rogan starred in with Joseph Gordon-Levitt) about his experience.

Member of the Sunday Men's Basketball League.

[on '50/50', and the central character in his comedy/drama about cancer] Adam is very much an extension of me. But I didn't intend for that, it just happened. I just had so much I wanted to say. There's a real limitation on what you can and can't say - like you can't make fun of this, because it's taboo.
