His credits at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre include: Tibbut in "Kes (1969)" (2004) and Alex Holmes in "On The Shore of the Wide World" a new play by Simon Stephens (2005, also National Theatre).
Attended the Guildhall acting school in London for three years. Got his first television role, in 'Blackpool', almost immediately after he had graduated.
