Married to Jonathan Cuneo, a partner in the Cuneo, Gilbert and LaDuca law firm in Washington, D.C.
Joined National Public Radio (NPR) in 1985, and is currently their national political correspondent, and has also been NPR's White House correspondent from 1992-2001, and their congressional correspondent from 1989-1992.
Graduate of Brown University (class of 1977) with a B.A. degree in American history. Graduated from Scarsdale High School in New York in 1973.
