Lori Christopher has had a broad array of experience across various areas within the entertainment industry. She is developing content for film, television, digital and other media through her company, Edenvale Ventures. Previously, Lori was a senior executive at WME Agency (formerly known as William Morris Endeavor Entertainment) in Talent Development where she oversaw professional development initiatives including the agent trainee program and new agent seminars.
Prior to joining WME, she did a two-year stint in the world of finance and was the Vice President of Investor Services at Canyon Capital Advisors LLC, a Los Angeles-based hedge fund with over $10 billion in assets under management, where she supervised the team responsible for investor relations and investment transactions.
From 2003 to 2009, Lori was an independent producer/financier and co-founded Two Roads Entertainment. The company's first film was The Go-Getter which starred Zooey Deschanel, Jena Malone, Lou Taylor Pucci and Nick Offerman. The Go-Getter premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and had a multi-city theatrical release. Two Roads' second film, Taking Chances starring Justin Long, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Corddry and Nick Offerman, premiered on Showtime in 2009. Before co-founding Two Roads, Lori produced and directed the micro-budget documentary Drive which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2005.
She started her career in entertainment at the Endeavor Agency where she rose quickly from the mailroom through the trainee program and became a Motion Picture Literary Agent. During her tenure as an agent, she worked with screenwriters, directors, and actor/directors. She decided to leave Endeavor to pursue her goal of becoming an independent producer.
Lori earned her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and spent three years at Bain & Company in the London office. Prior to business school she managed a start-up joint venture in France in the garlic industry. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she received bachelor's degrees in Economics and Communications.
