Ben Jorgensen(I)

Ben Jorgensen is a musician and filmmaker. He is the founder, lead singer, and songwriter for the rock band Armor For Sleep. Their concept album "What To Do When You Are Dead" sold over 400,000 copies and launched them as a defining act in their genre. NJ.Com included the album on their "50 greatest New Jersey albums of the 21st Century" list. Their song "Remember to Feel Real" was featured on the Snakes on a Plane (2006) soundtrack, and their song "End of the World" was featured on the Transformers (2007) soundtrack. Ben was the cinematographer for the acclaimed short film Misfortune (2017), which would go on to win multiple awards including a production deal from Shout! Factory. In 2019 Ben wrote, directed, edited, and scored the short film Prime (2019), which was made for the Collaboration Filmmakers Challenge. It was an official judge's selection at the festival and won multiple awards including awards for writing, directing, and acting. In 2022 Armor for Sleep released a new full-length album titled "The Rain Museum" and embarked on tour across the country with other acts such as Dashboard Confessional, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and Hawthorne Heights.
