She was born Gabriella Topcov on January 16, 1973, in Melbourne, Australia, to Hungarian parents. Raised by her mother and grandparents, she speaks English and Hungarian fluently making her a bilingual actress.
In 1999, Gabriella fulfilled her dream of living in New York and studying theatre, where she graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute with an Artist Diploma/Conservatory Degree in acting.
In 2014, Gabriella founded Q44 Theatre in Melbourne for whom she directed Orphans (2014), Spike Heels (2014), Kafkas Monkey (2014), Fool for Love (2015), Savage in Limbo (2015), Sex with Strangers (2016), Shining City (2016), Marriage Proposal (2016), Ivanov (2017) Hurly Burly (2017) Four Dogs And A Bone (2019)
In 2019 she became co-founder of Golden Pineapple Productions.
