Jacinta is a classically trained theatre actress who studied at the
London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and later in Suzuki and
Viewpoints with the acclaimed theatre group SITI, in New York. She
started her working life teaching English as a second language in St
Petersburg, Russia, which then led to travelling, performing and
teaching across Europe and Asia. Upon returning to Australia, she
secured her first local acting role in the ABC drama Christina's
Birthday, shot entirely in Broome, Western Australia. In 2010, after
many years treading the boards, and numerous critically acclaimed
performances, Jacinta decided to venture into feature films. Starting
with an hilarious cameo as Joan in 1MC:Something of Vengeance, she next
played the lead role of Scout Taylor in the film iSOLATE, a performance
that won her the Best Actress award at its world premiere screening.
