Keldrick Mobley
- Actor
Keldrick T. Mobley writes stories that depict African Americans as true action heroes. In 2008, Keldrick self published his first action novel Lions For a Day to rave reviews on Amazon. What sets his writing apart is his ability to construct action packed tales filled with exciting, eclectic characters who balance between a world of righteousness and depravity. His unique upbringing in Miami, Florida inspires many of his stories. The son of a church lady and a pimp for a dad, he was able to see both the good and bad in people and the dynamics found in the situations they encounter. Now a father himself, he wants to show his sons that there is indeed a place for black action heroes in this world.
Keldrick studied drama, improvisational comedy with Laughing Gas (South Florida's oldest improv troupe), film production, journalism (receiving the FCCAA Best Humor award in 2001) and English before attending the innovative Creative Writing for Entertainment Bachelor of Fine Art program at Full Sail University. It was there he honed his talent for writing film, television and gaming. It is his intention to expand his outreach to a greater audience by crafting powerful and dynamic work for multiple formats. He is working on the sequel to his debut novel titled Lions For a Day: The Shepherds Resignation due for completion in 2018 and is shopping his original screenplay titled Skater Boy to various outlets. He is currently working on another screenplay tentatively titled Cracker Day.
