Originally from a Ute Indian reservation, Jackson faced adversity from
a very young age. Being one of only a couple white kids on an Indian
reservation, he was harassed and bullied by the Indian kids. He began
to turn to food for comfort which led to a problem with obesity. He
then got picked on for being big.
When he was 14, he came out as a gay man and began to attend Ogden OUTreach, a queer youth resource center in northern Utah. He would later become a volunteer to pay it forward to kids in the area.
At age 21, he was cast on "The Biggest Loser" season 14 to try and get his weight under control. Tune in to NBC on Mondays at 8/7C to see the transformation.
