Writer, Cinematographer and filmmaker Derrick feels right at home behind the camera. As a freelance graphic artist and music producer the next logical step in the forward momentum of his creative growth was film. With influences ranging from Francis Ford Coppola to Spike Lee, Derrick draws from a gamut of inspiration to compose his flowing pictures into diverse and direct messages for the viewer. Often shocking and deliberately blunt his visions are just beginning to compile and the pressure is building with volcanic like energy soon to boil over and spew visuals which intrigue, awe, ignite controversy, and of all things, satisfy his inner creative.
