Born in England (Stoke-on-Trent) of Bangladeshi descent, Jan Uddin is an international actor who has lived in Bangladesh, Tunisia, Sweden, the United Kingdom and now in the US.

Finding his passion for acting at a very young age, Uddin moved to London when he was 18 to pursue his dream career, obtaining a certificate in Drama from the Drama School in London.

In 2011, he appeared in the British action film, "Shank," and starred in acclaimed director Jean-Jacques Annaud's epic historical war film, "Day of the Falcon" with Antonio Banderas. In 2018, Uddin was featured alongside Gabriel Byrne and Harvey Keitel in the thriller, "Lies We Tell," and this year he was the lead in the critically acclaimed historical drama, "Cliffs of Freedom." He can next be seen in the upcoming science fiction film, "The Code."

His television credits include, "Marvel: Agents Of Shield", "The Red Tent," "Injustice," "The Bill," "Casualty" and "Panorama."

With a passion for philosophy and religion, Uddin is now working on an online degree in Theology from the University of Aberdeen.

When not acting and studying, he enjoys working out, cooking, listening to music, hanging with his friends, and volunteering his time to his church.

Uddin resides in Los Angeles.
