Jani Jokinen is born in Motala, Sweden. He spent his childhood in Lake Worth, Florida. He is the brother of Sira Jokinen Lisse. Jani started his acting carrier in multiple stage productions between 1999-2003 in Motala, Sweden (he even wrote one of them). Jani got his eyes open for film when he wrote, directed and stared in a short film during high school named The Forbidden Game in 2002.
Between 2003 and 2008 he has been creating multiple short films, worked in bigger productions and done multiple commercials. He also stared in a few stage productions between 2006 and 2007.
In 2006 he started his movie productions company JPictures, that he later renamed to AndeoX Productions. 2007 he went to a film school and continued to work with film. His company focused most on commercials between 2008 and 2012.
Between 2011 and 2014 he got some lead roles in commercials and was a background actor in a few TV-series.
2013 to 2016 he been working some as a producer like in the short films The Hider (2016) and Got a Girl (2016). He has also worked as a cinematographer, like in Jordgubbens Möja (2015).
In 2017 he was asked to help with the production of The Chronicles of Snakeblade (2019). Since that film had been in production for years, Jani knew that he had to review the entire crew, actors and organization. He became the mane producer of the film and started shooting it in the beginning of 2018. He also took a small part for him self and knew that he had to be the main director, so that this film would get finished. The movie is planned to premiere during 2020.
In 2019 he started working on a documentary about mothers who have come to Sweden. There are educations to gives these women the possibility to be surrounded by other mothers around the world. Jani Jokinen follows this education and sees what the future will bring. This documentary is planned to be finished in 2020-2021. Jani Jokinen is also working on a documentary about the consumption society and this documentary is planned to be finished in 2020.
