In a suit filed Wednesday, 10 of the deadly rampage’s victims allege battery, assault and negligence, People confirms.
They named as defendants MGM Resorts International, which owns the venue where the Route 91 Harvest festival was held, and its subsidiary Mandalay Corp., which owns the Mandalay Bay hotel where Stephen Paddock was staying when he fired down...

Too bad for Jeremy London, his mother and twin brother can speak to the public about him. The "Party of Five" actor's request for a restraining order against his family has been denied by a judge.
Jeremy requested a restraining order against mother Debbie Nielsen, twin brother Jason, and Jason's girlfriend Sofia Karstens to prevent them from giving unauthorized interviews to the media about him. They recently told the press that they doubt his version of his alleged kidnapping, even pleading to the public that he needs help.
His lawyer, Catherine Lombardo, argued to the court that his family was spreading lies that were harmful to Jeremy.
However, Superior Court Judge Irving Shimer said he can't give in to his request because to do so would deny the trio their First Amendment right.

"Party of Five" actor Jeremy London could sue his family but wasn't able to shut them up from talking. The 37-year-old star, who entered restraining order plea against his family on Wednesday, June 30 in a Los Angeles court, had his request denied by judge.
Jeremy's request was rejected because the family is protected by the First Amendment, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Irving Shimer explained on Thursday, July 1, as People quoted. The judge also mentioned that the actor could later sue his relatives if their statements are untrue.
Jeremy London made the plea after his family publicly doubted his claim that he was kidnapped and forced to use drug in Palm Springs, California on June 10. His attorney Catherine Lombardo previously explained to the site, "Jeremy filed these orders against his family for them to stop giving unauthorized interviews to the press."

Like it or not, Jeremy London's gonna have to put up with his family publicly speculating whether he's relapsed. A Los Angeles Judge quickly tossed a request for a restraining order the former Party of Five star filed against his mother, Debbie Nielsen, twin brother Jason and Jason's girlfriend, Sofia Karstens, to bar them from talking to the media about his personal life. Chalk it up to freedom of speech. "What you want to do is repeal the First Amendment," Superior Court Judge Irving Shimer said Thursday to London's attorney, Catherine Lombardo, in denying the petition. The legal eagle tried to argue before the court that the actor's relatives had to be stopped from...

With his family members talking to the media recently, saying they doubt he was kidnapped, Jeremy London is suing his mother, Debbie Nielsen, and his twin brother, Jason, as well as Jason’s girlfriend Sofia Karsten. Jeremy’s lawyer, Catherine Lombardo, told RadarOnline on June 24 that her client wants to prevent his family from publicly talking any further. The family is saying they don’t necessarily believe that three men took Jeremy against his will on a joyride around Palm Springs on June 10 and forced him to smoke drugs. They also said that he needs help again, immediately. As a result, Jeremy is seeking an injunction against them, to “specifically stop (them from) [...]...

The "Mallrats" actor's latest incident finds him filing a lawsuit against his mother, Debbie Nielsen, as well as his twin brother - trying to prevent all parties from speaking about his to the media.
