Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Kyle discovered filmmaking at the age of 9. Rather than go to film school, Kyle wrote, directed, and starred in several feature length film projects all shot in the Midwest. In 2009 Kyle made the move to Los Angeles where he's been working as a freelance editor ever since. His first SAG feature with a budget, "To Hell and Gone", was distributed on VOD platforms on May 12, 2020. His follow up feature is a tragicomic sci-fi romance called "Me First!"
