Penelope Leach

Dr. Leach is a Child Wellbeing Campaigner and Researcher, Association for Infant Mental Health in East Sussex, England. She was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2022 Queen's Birthday Honours List for her services to Education.

Sitting four-year-old boys down and expecting them to keep still and listen - it ain't in their nature. We'd do better with our boys if they were spending more time rushing about, pushing each other and shouting like boys need to do.
