- While filming a TV pilot in Italy, (and standing in a town square with his Manager, cast, crew and production team) his image was discovered (unbeknownst to him) on the cover of an Italian Magazine.

- Aside from Musical Theater in High School, Daniel only started his pursuit of a career when an audition brought him out to Los Angeles for a call back when he was age 17. He returned home to finish High School, graduating early with Honors and thereafter made the move to California.
- Booked his first job (the male lead in a music video) in Hollywood about 45-days after moving to Los Angeles.
- Appeared in musicals in high school and sang in his high school's choir. He also played several sports. He considers himself a "nerd-jock-theater-choir kid.".
- Studied with renown Los Angeles acting coach and character actor Van Epperson when first in Los Angeles.
