- Born July 26, 1973 in PA, Amy is the first of three siblings and the only one to pursue film. Her father was a minister, now retired, and her mother was, and still is, a wonderful mom. Having moved from PA to IN before she turned one, most of her life has been spent in the Indianapolis area. At the age of 31, she moved to Houston and at the age of 36 she moved to the Atlanta area, where she was introduced to film. Amy's background, though, is quite different. Her degree is in Baking and Pastry Arts, so she quite literally went from cinnamon to cinema. Mostly working on the crew side of things as a Production Coordinator and Casting gal, she has been an actor as well. She worked for an improv interactive theatre on a pirate ship in Savannah GA. And yes, she was a pirate. Amy says it was the best job ever.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Amy
- Having lived in Houston TX, and very much loving it there, she would not have ended up in Atlanta if it had not been for Hurricane Ike. She had started a job at a boutique hotel in Houston as the manager for wedding catering only three days before the hurricane hit. As a result of that event, she was laid off and after a year and a half of unemployment, ended up in GA as an intern for Whitestone Motion Pictures and ultimately a Production Coordinator for a film company.
- Amy once worked for a Living History Museum in Indiana called Conner Prairie. Each year, they have haunted hayrides to celebrate Halloween. For five years running, she was one of the Headless Horseman, riding a horse, at night, in a costume, without lighting. Thank you to Blaze and Belle for being my steadfast legs and ride on those chilly, but wonderful nights.
