Willem van Beusekom(1947-2006)
Willem van Beusekom was a Dutch broadcaster and radio and tv presenter.
He started his career as a radio DJ and programme-maker (Popreconstructie, Popkrant, De Elpee Tuin).
Later he fulfilled various executive positions within the Dutch public broadcasting system: 1984 - 1989 Director VARA Radio; 1989 - 1995 Director NOS Radio; 1995 - 2006 Managing Director NPS (TV)
He especially enjoyed fame as the Dutch television commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest from 1987 until 2005.
